When trying to explain my love for you,
words do not seem appropriate ...
yet words seem to be the only way
I am able to make you see
that of intimate love I know too few
to conduct it in an honest way;
of candlelight romance I have little experience
and therefore need time to perfect it;
only innocent love is familiar to me
and I long to announce it to you
