Two 1951 Free State weddings — both of Izelle's grandparents

Same year, same province, both couples: 5 May 1951 Koffiefontein (du Plessis × Meades) and 29 December 1951 Verkeerdevlei (Tait × Duvenage). Without those two OFS weddings, the daughters' side of the family does not exist.

On Izelle’s side of the family, both sets of grandparents married in the same year, in the same Free State.

5 May 1951, Koffiefontein — Josef “Jopie” Johannes Fourie du Plessis × Francina Carolina Meades (paternal grandparents).
29 December 1951, Verkeerdevlei (Brandfort) — Pieter Johannes Tait × Ammerentia Petronella Duvenage (maternal grandparents).

Same year, same province, both couples — and a daughter on either side who would, decades later, marry into Attie’s family. Without those two 1951 OFS weddings, the daughters’ side of the family does not exist.
